Physicochemical Properties: Purple-red powder. Soluble in water (bright red), slightly soluble in ethanol (orange). In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears bright red to magenta, turning brownish-orange upon dilution. Resistant to acids.
Applications: Mainly used for dyeing cellulose fibers with good exhaustion but poor migration. Suitable for direct printing and blending with other dyes. Also used for silk, wool, leather, and paper.
