Physicochemical Properties: Dark reddish-brown powder. Highly soluble in water (bluish-red with fluorescence) and ethanol. In sulfuric acid, it appears orange-yellow, turning red upon dilution. Aqueous solutions turn bluish-red with sodium hydroxide.
Applications: For dyeing wool, silk, and nylon, as well as wool blends. Suitable for direct printing on wool and silk. Also for leather dyeing.
