Physicochemical Properties: Bluish-gray powder. Soluble in water (purplish-black). In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears as purplish-black, turning brownish-black upon dilution. Forms棕黑色 with concentrated hydrochloric acid and dark bluish-red with concentrated sodium hydroxide.
Applications: Mainly for dyeing/printing cotton, viscose, wool/viscose, and nylon/viscose blends. Also for leather and paper.
