Physicochemical Properties: Soluble in water, yielding a golden-yellow solution with a solubility of 60 g/L (60°C) and 80 g/L (97°C). Slightly soluble in ethanol; insoluble in other organic solvents. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears deep blue, diluting to a golden-orange. The aqueous solution forms a yellowish olive-brown precipitate with concentrated hydrochloric acid and a brownish-orange precipitate with concentrated sodium hydroxide. Insensitive to hard water; color remains stable with copper or iron ions.
Applications: Produces a bright reddish-yellow shade on cotton or viscose with good leveling and migration properties. Dye uptake is moderate, with optimal exhaustion at 60°C. Suitable for direct printing and discharge printing. Primarily used for dyeing and printing viscose fabrics. Also applicable to silk, leather, paper, and electroplated aluminum. Compatible with disperse dyes for polyester/viscose blends.
